NAHS Graduation

Graduation is approaching real fast, so here are some tips to all the NA Seniors.

When is Graduation?

Sunday, June 4th

Where is Graduation?

New Albany High School

How many family members can I bring?

Seniors will receive 7 tickets, no extras

When can I get the tickets?

Tickets will be eligible for pick up May 18th and May 19th during Lunch. Parents may not pick up tickets.

When is Baccalaureate?

May 16th and you must wear your cap, gown and tassel to participate.

When is Class Night?

May 24th and you must wear your cap, gown and tassel to participate.

When can I get my Cap and Gown?

Cap and Gown delivery day is Wednesday, April 26th during lunch. Jostens will mail home a postcard letting you know the balance due. No checks are accepted. Call Jostens if you have any questions about your order, 317-736-9114.

Diploma pick up is Wednesday, June 7th from 8am-3pm. To have your diploma mailed, please email your request to Mrs. Maynard, rmaynard@nafcs.k12.in.us. Be sure to include a current mailing address.

Make sure to clear all outstanding obligations (books, uniforms, fees, etc.) as soon as possible.

Remember, no refunds will be given for senior products  or other expenses that you or your family may incure as a result of your not meeting all expectations.

No ticket is required to participate in Baccalaureate or Class Night.

Below will be extra obligations, you as seniors, will have to do before you are able to get your diploma.

Senior Obligation List
Seniors – did you forget to return a book from freshman year? Forget to repay the $.10 you borrowed from the BFC? These are just examples of why your name could be listed on the senior obligation list. The list is posted in the Principal’s Office – please check it frequently. Please get your name removed from the list as soon as possible. Here’s how:
· Lunch fees – please check with Ms. Early in the cafeteria
· Book fees – please check with Ms. Crump in the bookstore (could be for lost/damaged books, calculators, or fees)
· BFC loans – please check with Ms. Scott in C209 or go to the BFC during 4th period.


Seniors on track to earn an Academic Honors Diploma or a Technical Honor Diploma can pick up a medal 5/8/17 and 5/9/17. Please stop by to see Mrs. Maynard before/after school and during lunch. Medals will not be distributed during class time.

Please Notify Ms. McGuirk no later than May 17th if:

  • You are an Eagle Scout
  • You are a Gold Award Winner
  • You have been accepted to a 2yr or 4yr college
  • You have enlisted in the military
  • You have received a scholarship from any college or organization
