*PJS College of Cosmetology Scholarship – $1,000 scholarship for high school students. See Ms. McGuirk for an application. Deadline: 4/24/17.


*Anna’s Angels Award – Award varies from $500-$1000. This award is presented in loving memory of the late Dr. Anna Brackens. She was a community leader and long-time pastor. The recipient must be the child of a Floyd or Clark County Pastor and a graduating senior. Applicants must also write a 1000 word essay or less on the following:“Being a PK (preacher’s kid) has its advantages as well as disadvantages. In 1000 words or less, give us your opinion on this statement.” Submit your entry to: annasangelsllc@gmail.com . Deadline: 4/10/17.

*Badger, Spiller & Nicholson Scholarship – $2000 scholarship. Applicants must be a current or previous patient. See Ms. McGuirk for an application. Deadline: 4/13/2017.

*Business and Professional Women of New Albany Scholarship – Must be a resident of Floyd, Clark, Harrison or Crawford County in Indiana; have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher, and demonstrate need. See Ms. McGuirk for an application. Deadline: 3/17/17.

*Floyd County Environmental Scholarship Application – Applicant must be a resident of Floyd County majoring in Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering or a college degree focused on environmental studies. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or better. See Ms. McGuirk for an application. Deadline: 3/31/17.

*Floyd County Farm Bureau Scholarship – One time $800 scholarship. Applicants or his / her guardian must be a Floyd County Farm Bureau member. See Ms. McGuirk for an application. Deadline: 4/7/17.

*Great Clips Scholarship Program – Tuition assistance to cosmetology students. Awards range from $250 – $1,500. Apply online at www.greatclipscareers.com/scholarships by 3/31/17.

*Harrison County REMC Scholarship – $1000 scholarship. Applicant’s parent or guardian must be currently receiving electrical service from Harrison County REMC. Applicants must be a high school senior who has been accepted to attend a college located within the Indiana counties of Clark, Floyd, or Harrison as well as Jefferson County in Kentucky. The student must be a full time student (12 credit hours) for the 2017 fall semester. See Ms. McGuirk for an application. Deadline: Postmarked no later than 3/30/17.

*Indiana Retired Teachers Southeast Division Scholarship – $500 scholarship. Applicants must be a legal dependent or grandchild of an active, retired or deceased member of the Indiana State Teachers Association. See Ms. McGuirk for an application. Deadline: 3/16/17.

*Johns Hair Style Scholarship – Must have at least a 2.5 GPA, provide proof of college acceptance and plan to attend college. See Ms. McGuirk for an application. Deadline: 3/24/17.

*Lewis A. Endres Memorial Fund – For members of the NAHS football team. Must write an essay on “What Football Means to Me”. Turn in essays to Ms. McGuirk by 4/10.

*Louisville Urban League Guild – $1000 scholarship. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior with a minimum ACT of 18 , 2.8 or higher GPA and demonstrate financial need. Must have been accepted to and will attend a 2 or 4 year post-secondary institution. See Ms. McGuirk for an application. Deadline: 4/7/2017.

*Mattie Loughmiller Memorial Scholarship” – For seniors who attended S.Ellen Jones Elementary School. See McGuirk for an application. Deadline: 4/10.

*Otto Morris Memorial Scholarship – $500 one time scholarship for students who plan to major in nursing at a 2 or 4 year College. See Ms. McGuirk for an application Deadline: 4/10.

*NAHS STEM Scholarship – $4000 scholarship for seniors who plan to pursue a STEM based undergraduate degree. Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale, demonstrate leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular and volunteer activities. See Ms. McGuirk for an application and additional information. Deadline: 5/10/17.

Richard C. Scott Design Scholarship – $1000 one time scholarship. Applicants must be a senior in Clark, Floyd, Harrison or Scott County, Indiana.
