Indiana University Cox Scholarship – The Cox Scholarship is the largest donor-funded scholarship

program at IU.

The scholarship covers the official cost of attendance. The priority deadline for applying is 2/1/18.

Indiana University Hudson & Holland Scholars Program – Scholarship and support program for high achieving students with a focus on underrepresented minorities. Apply online at www.iub.edu/~hhsp. by 2/15.

 

 

PJS College of Cosmetology – $1,000 High School Scholarship. For students who have not attended

a previous cosmetology institution or a previous PJS location. See Ms. McGuirk for a scholarship

Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Teen Scholarship – Scholarships to a graduating high school seniors whose

Beta Sigma Psi Scholarship – For male students who plan to attend Purdue University, Indiana

University or the University of Illinois or another 4 year college or university. Applicants must be a member of a Lutheran church.

Centra Foundation – Loretta M. Burd Scholarship – 23 scholarships valued at $2500 will be awarded to graduating

Centra Credit Union. Deadline: 2/28/18.

 

*Clark County REMC Scholarship – Ten scholarships will be awarded at $1,000 each. Applicants must:

reside in the

home of a parent or legal guardian who is a Clark County REMC member and receives electrical service

from the REMC.; be a high school senior who has been admitted to IUS, Ivy Tech or Purdue polytechnic of New

Albany for the fall 2018 semester; attend as a full time student (12 credit hours). See Ms. McGuirk for an application or

Historic Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Scholarship – Apply online at www.thurgoodmarshallfund.net

 

Indiana Association of Educational Office Professionals Scholarship – $1000 scholarship to Indiana graduating seniors.

Scholarship is designed to assist a business education student who wishes to continue his/her education in an office-related career.

Applicants must have completed two or more (four semesters) business educational courses

from among the following; computer programming, accounting, finance, business management or business law,

computer science. The applicants must maintain a 2.8 or higher GPA. See Ms. McGuirk for an application.

Deadline: Postmarked by 2/5 or e-mail by 2/10.

 

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship – Scholarship of up to $7,000, renewable for three additional years. Applicants:

must be a graduating, minority high school senior planning to attend an accredited four year institution

within the

U.S.; show leadership potential, demonstrate a dedication to community service, present evidence of

financial need;

be a U.S. citizen; have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading

sections or a

Composite ACT score of 21. Apply online at: www.jackierobinson.org by 2/2/18.

 

Knights of Pythias Scholarship – Thirty $1,000 scholarships available to Indiana high school seniors with a 3.0

or higher GPA. See Ms. McGuirk for an application. Deadline: 1/25/18.

Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship Award – Scholarship of up to $1500 for college or post-secondary

technical school. Scholarship awarded to a senior whose parent is battling breast cancer or who has lost a parent to breast cancer.

Richard C. Scott Design Scholarship – Applicants must reside in Floyd, Clark, Harrison or Scott County

The University of Louisville is hosting “Cardinal Outlook Day” on Saturday, January 27 th for LGBTQ+

high school

juniors and seniors. The program is from 9:30am-2:00pm.

FAFSA FRIDAY

 

Have you completed the FAFSA? Forward Ms. McGuirk a copy of your SAR or verification e-

mail and you could be eligible for a $100 Scholarship. The program begins on January 4, 2018.

 

The drawing will be weekly from January 5 until the FAFSA deadline on April 15. The $100

scholarship will be presented at Class Night on Wednesday, May 23.
